Background :

The company is Canada’s leading chemical distributor.

Problem :

Filters were leaking, resulting in chemical spills and corrosion. This resulted in both a hazard for employees and an efficiency issue for production units since the filters had to be continually replaced.

Solution :

Solutions industrielles MJR re engineered and re machined the filters. Company specialists modified the filters from the inside to accommodate new quad seals. They elected to change materials, using viton instead of teflon. Furthermore, they seated the filters inside base plates for added efficiency and to better withstand pressure.

Résultat :

Solutions industrielles MJR managed to restore worker safety while increasing efficiency and significantly reducing the frequency of filter changes.
