Case #1

Customer’s line of business :

Roto-moulding

Background :

To manufacture prototype plastic sand filters, the company acquired a mould and a machining system to build walls on which observation covers could be fitted.

Problem :

It was impossible to precision machine wall parts to the required specifications, leading to a halt in production.

Solution :

Once the defective, non-compliant prototypes and the machining system arrived at its shop, Solutions industrielles MJR modified and adjusted the structure of the machining system to enhance its performance. It went on to fix the prototypes. Lastly, it provided training to operators at the customer’s plant.

Result :

Solutions industrielles MJR succeeded in recovering the costly prototypes and the customer won what was at stake: a contract for continuous parts production. The project thus saved, the company could now forge ahead.
